Lido Shares Alison Wonderland Remix + Announces Remix Album

Singer, songwriter, composer and producer Lido released his landmark debut album Everything last year and has announced the Everything remix album coming on March 3rd via Because Music with a huge new remix for the scorching lead-single “Crazy” from Australian DJ, producer, and singer Alison Wonderland.

Download: “Crazy”

Carefully curated by Lido, the project features remixes from Jaykode, Brass Tracks, Dan Farber, Melf, Umru, Minnesota, mossy., and Soft Glas. The announcement of the remix project comes on the heels of a huge wave of accomplishments in the past year and a half from debuting Everything at Coachella, completing his first sellout headlining US Tour, executive producing Halsey‘s Badlands album, to producing for Chance The Rapper, Banks and A$AP Ferg.

Lido and Alison Wonderland both decided to exchange remixes of each other’s song and the result yields the thumping “Crazy” remix from Alison, and Lido’s stunning remix of her track “Messiah.” The swap is a testament to their friendship and the art of collaboration with the sentiment of unity and support for peers in the electronic world. Check out quotes from both Lido and Alison Wonderland on the remixes and their friendship.

Alison is one of my best friends in the whole world. We met three years ago and she’s had my back ever since. We even lived together for a little while. As soon as she played me Messiah I knew I had to put my spin on it and it was torture keeping the song on the hush for so long. I guess she felt similarly about Crazy so this is the most organic remix-swap of all time!” – LIDO

Lido is one of my best friends and we have been making music for years. It’s really cool to be creative with people who you not only respect as an artist but you can call a friend.” – ALISON WONDERLAND
Collective influences ranging from Ginuwine and N’Sync to Mary J. Blige and other pop and R&B greats discernibly shine through as the musing over such an influential musical era has helped fuel their own articulation of classic baby-making music in 2017.

This project follows Lido’s debut album Everything, released on October 7th, showcasing his ability to transcend genres. Check out Passion Project II and share.
