Philip George Remixes Apexape’s “Joy & Pain”

Bristol duo Apexape have enlisted BRIT nominated house DJ/producer Philip George to rework their single, ‘Joy & Pain’. Out now via Cr2 Records/BMG, Philip’s striking twist and the accompanying After Dark remix will join earlier renditions from Hour Enemy, Alex Ross and Chris Carrier.

Philip George‘s remix includes a deep bassline and contrasting twinkling synths – steering away from the original’s funky house sound. His After Dark take of ‘Joy & Pain’ flaunts minimal synth patterns, laced with Josh Barry’s looped vocals.
